Great article here! A lot of times we only think about genetic reasons for hair loss, but it’s great to know that sometimes diseases such as thyroid lead to hair loss. I feel that a lot of times, people never think twice about why they are losing their hair. Understanding there could be diseases involved will help people be more proactive about understanding their hair loss reasons. You mentioned that the disease can be treated. Would you say that getting this treated would help people regain their hair?

      YES.

Thyroid conditions can cause hair loss if they are severe and go untreated. When hormone production is disrupted, it affects other processes in the body.

So, medication will solve the problem and keep your hair thicker or regenerate growth. With treatment, hair growth may be noticeable.

The most common reason for the hair loss is stress. Mostly, I heard that Thyroid can only be cure with surgery but is it true that there are medicine for Thyroid disease?

      Possible medications include:

levothyroxine (hypothyroidism)propylthiouracil and methimazole (hyperthyroidism)beta blockers (hyperthyroidism).

The good news is that hair loss caused by thyroid conditions is
typically temporary. You may experience hair loss even after starting
drugs to help with your condition. Some people worry the drugs are
causing hair loss, but it may have more to do with the life cycle of
      hair.

So, surgery can’t be the only solution to Hair Loss caused by Thyroid.
